Pradhan Mantri Jan Awas Yojna is a Government of India initiative to provide affordable housing to the eligible citizens of India by the year 2020. The flagship project aims at providing affordable housing for the urban poor, rural poor and other homeless sections of the society.

As per the latest update, the government has increased the number of homes that are to be constructed under the scheme by 33% i.e. from 3 crores to now 4 crores.

The PMAY-G Registration Form is available in the PMAY-G User Manual. The applicants can apply online for PM Awas Yojana Gramin in the format shown in the user manual.

Register your details with your Aadhaar number
Under the Citizen Assessment tab, either select ‘For slum dwellers’ or ‘Benefit under other 3 component’.
Provide your Aadhaar card details and get the form for submitting the PMAY application online.
Fill in the details and save you information.
The applicants can either avail the homes constructed under the scheme and take the subsidy amount to build a house.
