Pragati Scholarship Scheme
All India Council of Technical Education launched Pragati Scholarship Scheme for the girl students. The aim of Pragati Scholarship Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the girl students and encourage them for higher technical education.
Pragati Scholarship Scheme is an initiative by All India Council of Technical Education Board to empower women with knowledge, skills and self-confidence.
AICTE will grant scholarship to 4000 girl students all over the country including 2000 diploma students and 2000 degree students. Beneficiaries of Pragati Scholarship Scheme will get Rs. 30000/- or the actual amount of tuition fee of the course whichever is less. Besides, the beneficiaries will also get Rs. 2000/- per month for 10 months as incidental charges per year.
Features of Pragati Scholarship
- Scholarship Scheme contenders must take admission in 1st year of Degree/Diploma course
- The institution must beAICTE approved
- Candidates will be selected on merit basis
- 15% seats are reserved for SC candidate
- 7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidate
- 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidate

Follow the steps to check the Pragati Scholarship Merit List 2020:
- Visit the official website of the All India Council of Technical Education. Here is the link to it: https://www.aicte-india.org/
- Under the SCHEMES tab, select the “Student Development Scheme” option from the drop-down list. Here is the direct link to the page: https://www.aicte-india.org/schemes/students-development-schemes
- In the Student Development Schemes, go to the “PRAGATI SCHOLARSHIP” and select the appropriate batch.
- Click the link “Category wise Provisional Merit List of eligible students subject to verification of documents for the Grant of Pragati Scholarship Scheme (Degree)” or “Category wise Provisional Merit List of eligible students subject to verification of documents for the Grant of Scholarship (Diploma)”
- Then PDF file will open on the computer screen from where you can check your name.
