Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of Central govt. has launched COVID-19 Student Helpline Portal at helpline.aicte-india.org. The union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has started this student helpline portal to tackle Coronavirus on 3 April 2020.

The main objective is to help students who are facing difficulties due to the closure of colleges and hostels in the wake of Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown. Student can take help on various issues, check COVID-19 emergency numbers, developer information.
This MHRD COVID-19 Student Helpline Portal is developed by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to provide help and support to students facing problems and address their issues. Two student interns Ahivanshu and Akash of Graphic Era University has developed this portal in a record time of 1 day.
Moreover, students can check COVID-19 initiatives by IITs, Coronavirus Self Assess Test and can even search institute or city services.
